We are a not for profit organisation, committed to making wellbeing spaces, nourishing meals and inclusive community accessible to all women.

About

We are a not for profit organisation, a community of women who deeply believe in the extraordinary healing power that is present when women gather together. We believe that these kinds of spaces should be accessible and inclusive to all women.

We gather in locations abundant in nature, to practice the ancient art of Circle and Breaking Bread. All of our meals are soulfully nourishing and plant based. A portion of our fresh produce is lovingly organically grown and foraged locally by our dedicated community members.

There are plenty of opportunities to get involved, to be a part of shaping these spaces which have come to be so cherished by the women they serve. Whatever your experience or personal journey, we offer you the opportunity to be welcomed into sacred feminine community.

To find a home where you can belong.

We Believe

  • In the power of community and women’s innate ability to nourish, support and celebrate one another.

  • Healing spaces should be inclusive of all women. Including women from Black, Asian and other ethnically diverse communities. And those women who are regularly under served within our society.

  • Finances or lack of should not determine whether or not a woman has access to Circle, Community or Healthy Social Eating, which is why we provide subsidised tickets and bursary places to all our events.

  • Every woman deserves access to nutritionally sustaining food.

  • We believe setting the table, growing, foraging and preparing food to be a generous act of love.

  • Every woman deserves the opportunity to increase her health, sense of connection and overall wellbeing through the ceremony of Circle and the ritual of Social Eating.

Circle

Circle is a space for women to gather.

Through the simple act of storytelling we are able to see the truth of how deeply connected we and our lives are, dissolving the veil of separateness which can feel so prominent in our every day lives.

A space where we listen deeply with full presence. Where we use our voices with intention, only when we feel called. Without the fear of judgement, interruption or response.

This in not a form of therapy, but it is ripe with the potential of profound healing and transformation.

Circle gives us permission to breathe life into what society has long convinced us must be fixed, changed, restrained - us!

Circle is the undoing, the unlearning of our conditioned forms of communication and expression.

It is the unclothing of our protective layers, the ones we formed when we learned life would be easier if parts of us remained hidden, silenced, shushed.

It is the space we retreat to when we are aching from performing for the world and yearning for meaningful connection.

It is the space that we are met, accepted, loved and celebrated over and over and over again.

Circle is the space that calls for you - unfiltered and raw in all your wonderful being.

Inside every modern woman lives the embers of an ancient one, who remembers what it is to gather around the fire and bask in the embrace of community with her sisters.

Social

Eating

Breaking bread together is a joyous celebration. Intentionally gathering around a beautifully set dining table, sharing rich conversation and soul soothing feasts.

It’s a ritual deeply woven into humankind. Thanks to extensive research we now have evidence that social eating improves our emotional, intellectual, mental and physical wellbeing. Science is now confirming what our ancestors knew in their bones to be true and essential for a thriving community.

Research from the BBC and Oxford University has found those who eat socially are more likely to:

  • Have greater satisfaction with life

  • Increased ability to build and retain trust with others

  • Increased engagement with their local communities

  • Have more friends they can depend on for social and emotional support

  • Are more likely to feel better about themselves

So why don’t we, in our advanced modern day western culture, eat together more?

Research has shown:

  • Lack of financial resources

  • Lack of time

  • Lack of energy

  • Inability to cook

  • Increased stress

denies us access to the privilege of social eating and it’s health and wellbeing benefits.

Around our table, there is room for you to take a seat, time for you to pause and revel in the joy of conscious social eating.
